  1. The NLCP package contains the install package, pre-compiled object and source of the TI Linux Open-Source Wi-Fi image to easily upgrade the default LINUX EZSDK release with the TI WiLink™ family NLCP Wi-Fi driver. The software is built with Linaro GCC 4.7 and can be added to Linux SDKs that use similar toolchain on other platforms. The Sigma package provides the required APIs.
  2. Ti Nspire won’t connect to Mac The calculator shows a charging sign so the usb should be working, but no handheld shows up on my Mac. Ive tried both Ti nspire computer link and the student software, but the calculator never shows up.

Jul 13, 2017  Note: that download link may change if TI places the link on a webpage instead. Make sure that you do not have a USB cable connected to your computer WHILE installing TI Connect. If Ti89 is not recognized by your MAC: restart the MAC, try the other USB.

TI Connect is an application available from Texas Instruments (TI) that allows users to transfer files between a TI graphing calculator and a computer via a link cable. While all models that are capable of linking are supported with the macOS version of TI-Connect, the TI-82 and TI-85 are not currently supported with the Windows version.

TI Connect is the successor of the TI-Graph Link software and contains similar functionality. Even though TI Connect was released 6 years after Windows 95 came out, this was TI’s first attempt to move out of the 16-bit software paradigm made prevalent in Windows 3.1. One feature which TI Connect did not retain from TI-Graph Link was the ability to edit TI-BASIC on a computer, but unlike TI-Graph Link, does not require a software version specific to each calculator.

Many slowdowns are experienced with the software, usually resulting from the slow USB connection between the computer and calculator. Unexplained errors sometimes occur with the software, preventing users from transferring programs over. One solution is to use the TI SendTo sub-application, which is more stable than the Device Explorer.[1]

You need two things to enable your TI-84 Plus calculator to communicate with your computer: TI Connect Software and either a USB computer cable or a USB Silver Edition Cable. TI Connect is free, and the cable came bundled with your calculator. If you are no longer in possession of the cable, you can purchase one through the Texas Instruments online store.
